Dr. Goldstein is an internationally recognized expert in the treatment of a variety of spinal conditions.

The Spine Center offers you a team approach to the care of your problems related to the neck and back. Our team of medical doctors specializes in surgery of the spine, physiatry and rehabilitation medicine and pain management. We recognize that many spinal problems benefit from a nonoperative treatment program. Surgery is considered only when medically appropriate. Surgical options may often include newer, innovative, minimally invasive approaches.

Each of our physicians has subspecialty training and expertise in problems of the spine. We actively involve other medical specialists and counselors as well as ancillary personnel who offer physical and occupational therapy and nutritional guidance.

Surgery, when necessary, is performed within the NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases Spine Service. This program, one of the busiest and most renowned in the nation, offers our patients access to some of the most highly trained professionals with expertise in the surgical treatment and postoperative care of spinal problems.
